My name is Antonio Gutierrez, but you can call me Tony. I'm a local artist based in Muskegon and Grand Rapids. I'm dedicated to refining my skills to provide people with personalized, wearable pieces of art.
My journey began in high school during my AP art class when I was entered into the Vans Custom Culture contest. Designing a unique pair of shoes from home was an exhilarating experience for me. I've explored various artistic mediums since middle school and throughout college, from graphite and markers to watercolors. However, the one that has truly resonated with me is airbrushing and brush painting.
After spending a few years at Kendall College of Art and Design, I made the decision to unenroll. However, my passion for art remained undiminished. I decided to create custom designs for my own and my sister's vans. Despite the fact that those initial pairs weren't perfect, the feeling of satisfaction they brought me was unparalleled and rekindled my creative spirit.
Today, I confidently stand at a crossroads, knowing exactly what I want to achieve with my skill set. These skills are not static; they are on a path of continuous evolution, propelling me toward greater artistic heights.
